Kalamitsi

Kalamitsi is one of the most picturesque villages in the southeastern part of Sithonia, 160 km from Thessaloniki. The settlement is a popular holiday destination during the summer months. The sandy beach is very clean, and there is a plethora of restaurants and entertainment venues on the waterfront. Kalamitsi is ideal for relaxing, peaceful and calm vacation. But there are villages in the area, such as Sarti and N. Marmaras, with a rich nightlife. In the village you can find supermarkets, kiosks, bar, beach bars, taverns serving delicious Greek cuisine and everything you need for your stay.

During your stay, we suggest you tour the region, starting from sites located near Kalamitsi, like the windmills and the ruins of an ancient temple in Sykia, the castle ruins, the ruins of the ancient city and the basilica church of St. Athanasius in Toroni.

An important attraction is the bay Ambelos, which is located in the 2nd km from Kalamitsi to Porto Koufos. An incredibly beautiful bay, situated between two capes with stunning view.
