Nea Flogita

Flogita, is built on a hill near the sea, located in central Halkidiki at a distance of 52 km from Thessaloniki and 12 km from Nea Moudania. The permanent inhabitants are about 1500 residents, but in the summer the number rises sharply and the town receives many visitors. The sandy beach Flogita to 1 km in length, is wel organized and is awarded with a blue flag and also has a lifeguard. The sea, which is one of the cleanest seas in the county, is very warm and the depth increases smoothly, giving opportunity for water sports. Flogita was built by refugees who came here from Cappadocia in 1923. You will also find restaurants, cafés and bars for your entertainment.
